Half-Day Masterclass (Mt Cotton)

September 19 @ 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm AEST

$195.00

Take Your Riding to the Next Level

Half-Day Masterclass at Mt Cotton

You’ve built the fundamentals. Now it’s time to refine them.

The Half-Day Masterclass gives you more riding time, personalised coaching and the opportunity to work on the areas of your riding you most want to improve.

This Masterclass is ideal if you want to:

✅ Refine your braking, cornering and overall riding technique
✅ Get personalised coaching and feedback
✅ Practise and consolidate the skills you already have
✅ Build confidence on a new or unfamiliar motorcycle
✅ Explore more of what you and your motorcycle are capable of in a controlled environment

Small Group. More Riding. More Coaching.

With a maximum of 20 riders, the Masterclass gives you plenty of riding time and regular opportunities for our instructors to observe your technique and provide individual feedback.

This is not about starting again.

It’s about refining the skills you already have and finding the small improvements that can make a big difference to your riding.

Is the Masterclass right for you?

The Masterclass is designed primarily for riders who have already completed training with SMART Rider Academy, have sound fundamental riding skills, and are ready to refine them through more advanced coaching.

If you haven’t trained with SMART Rider Academy before, the Masterclass may still be suitable for you if you:

  • Have at least 2 years of riding experience
  • Are comfortable riding confidently at normal highway speeds of up to 100 km/h
  • Have a basic understanding of the System of Vehicle Control
  • Are comfortable controlling your motorcycle smoothly and consistently in normal road-riding situations

This is not a track day and it’s not about riding fast. The focus is on better technique, greater control and more confidence.

If you’re unsure whether the Masterclass is suitable for your current skill level, contact us on 1300 961 335 before booking and we’ll be happy to help.

About SMART Rider Academy

SMART Rider Academy is a privately owned Australian company established to provide cost-effective training to motorcycle riders that improves their essential roadcraft skills and enjoyment of riding.

With funding support from Queensland Transport and Main Roads, SMART Rider Academy was the first organisation in the private sector to offer subsidised training to the motorcycle community in Queensland and is now the largest provider of post-licence road-based training in the state.

In 2017 SMART Rider Academy partnered with Queensland Police Service to create and deliver the “How to keep it UP-RIGHT” program. This program has now been delivered to over 1,400 riders in South East Queensland and is the model for the new “Ride to Zero” program being offered to clubs and not-for-profit organisations throughout Queensland.

Stephen McDowall, Director and Principal Coach, leads a training team that has worked extensively with motorcycle clubs, road safety and advisory groups and other organisations across Australia and internationally for over 20 years.
